Privacy Policy — Text → Doodling
Last updated: July 2, 2026
Text → Doodling turns documents, photos, and text into spoken doodle animations. We keep things simple, and we keep your data to a minimum.
What we process
When you upload a file, take a photo, or paste text, that content is sent to our server only to create your doodle explanation. To write the explanation, the content is processed by Anthropic's Claude API. When the cloud voice is enabled, the short narration sentences are converted to audio by ElevenLabs. These providers process the content to provide the service.
What we store
Your documents and photos are processed in memory and are not saved on our server after your doodle is created. Your last doodle is remembered only on your own device, so you can replay it. We keep anonymous usage counts (for example, how many doodles were created); IP addresses and device identifiers are hashed so they cannot be read back.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect names, contacts, or your location.
Permissions
The camera is used only when you tap "Take a photo", and photos you choose are used only to create your doodle. The microphone is never used.
Children
The app is safe for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
